VelvetMove ("VelvetMove," "we," "us") is operated by Velvet Operations LLC. VelvetMove is a lead-referral service that connects people planning a move with independent moving providers; we do not perform moves ourselves. Information we collect

When you request a move through our website or call 1-877-889-3668, we collect the information you provide directly, including your name, contact information, origin and destination ZIP codes, estimated move date, household size, and budget range. We also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, landing page, and UTM parameters.

• To qualify your inquiry against our service criteria
• To share your inquiry with Accera Digital and MovingAPT and additional vetted moving service providers (see our Marketing Partners page) for the purpose of completing your move

How we share information

We share information with Accera Digital and MovingAPT and, where your inquiry does not match their criteria, with additional vetted moving service providers, so that they can contact you about your move. The parties who may contact you are named on our Marketing Partners page. We may also share information with service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, email delivery). We do not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Communications and consent

By submitting the request form, you consent to be contacted by VelvetMove, Accera Digital and MovingAPT, and the additional moving service providers listed on our Marketing Partners page, by phone, text, and email at the contact information you provide, including via automated technology where applicable. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any service. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contacting us by phone at 1-877-889-3668.

Call recording

Calls to 1-877-889-3668 may be recorded for quality and training. If you would prefer your call not be recorded, please inform us at the start of the call.
